On Our 15’ Projector Screens

First stage

  • Groups will be composed of 4 players max.

  • Each player will play 5 Versus Mode rounds with the following rules:

    • 150cc race

    • Teams: No

    • Items: Normal

    • CPU Level: Hard

    • CPU Vehicles: All

    • Tracks: Random

    • No. of races: 8 (can be changed due to time constraints)

    • Allowed characters: All

    • Allowed vehicles: All

    • Smart steering: Allowed

    • Auto-acceleration: Allowed

    • Gyroscope: Allowed

  • After the round is finished all players must put their controllers down so the staff can take note of the in-game scores.

  • After completing 5 Versus Mode rounds, all players will advance to the WIG Grand Finals tournament bracket.

  • The Top 2 players with the highest scores from each group advance to the next stage.

    Second stage

    • In this stage, all players will be split into groups of 4 players each based on pool play results.

    • Each group will play 1 Versus Mode round with the same set of rules above.

    • After the round is finished all players must put their controllers down so the staff can take note of the in-game scores.

    • The Top 2 players with the highest scores in each group advance to the next stage.

    • In case of a tie, players who tied will play in a one race playoff on Rainbow Road. The winner will take the position and advance to the next stage.

    • Play will continue until there are two participants remaining.

    WIG Grand Final

    • Final 2 players will form a single group.

    • The group will play 1 Versus Mode with the above ruleset.

    • After the round is finished all players must put their controllers down so the staff can take note of the in-game scores.

    Estimated round time

    • 4 races: 12min aprox.

    • 5 races: 15min aprox.

    • 6 races: 17min aprox.

    • 8 races: 25min aprox.
